My studio is based in the UK, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. I offer a one-to-one professional and friendly service for commissions, originals, prints as well as a framing service with special glass and a high quality printing service.
If you would like prints produced from your commission, they make great gifts for friends and family members.
Working from the studio enables me to meet with clients and help them to make informed choices about their commission from the medium and background to the pose and the frame, even the glass and gift ideas such as personalised custom canvas prints.
I can also offer telephone or video conferences if travel is prohibitive, or even chat via zoom and I can meet clients at a mutually convenient venue.

Order your Pet Portrait/Human Portrait Online...
There are new packages available online where you can personalise and purchase your very own unique pet portrait/human portrait.
There are 3 sizes A5 (small), A4 (medium) and A3 (large) in which you can have a head and neck pose or a collage.
There is a facility for you to upload your photos as well as text boxes where you can add your own chosen name for your picture.
All the options are presented, including sizes, frame choice, medium, glass and details explaining everything on how you can create and personalise your very own pet portrait/human portrait.

My aim is to create a uniquely person one-to-one service.
With commissions, I ask questions regarding the photo reference I receive so I can capture the characteristics of your much loved pet or loved one and also questions so I know what you would like taken out, or to be kept in and what you like changed, if anything.
I am here to help you, whether it be framing, reframing, changing the mount and backing boards to protect the art, adding that personal touch to a commission, creating that unique picture of you much loved pet or pets, or you have that photo which is a memorable time that you want recreated into a hand-drawn piece of art.

With this commission, the client wanted more of a traditional portrait of all of her dogs/companions up to present day. The lady wanted to just concentrate on the head and neck, taking away all the background and making changes to the highlights of black fur from white to a blue reflection.

Another option of personalising is having the title, breeders name or dates of a pets.

This client wanted me to take the photos for them. They chose this pose to be recreated in pastel and didn't want to make any changes other than the odd reflection by the face that you will notice has gone. Some things are best to take out when your eye goes to that instead of the main subject within the photo.

This is my original pastel drawing completed of clients gorgeous Dobi called Benito. I enjoy the backgrounds too, especially found this one fun to do with the window reflection.

A title can be added on the picture if preferred. This one was discussed and hand drawn. The client was happy with this design.
