Welcome to the Awards page
I have been very fortunate to have won various awards throughout my career.
Initially, I won 1st and 3rd prize at a local exhibition, after which, I began entering international competitions. If you are selected as a finalist, you have the privilege of having your artwork displayed with those of the other great artists at the prestigious Mall Galleries, London.
I entered the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year competition in 2010, describing my work as follows;
'The special bond I witnessed between these tigers inspired me to draw this picture. Tigers are incredible animals: so powerful, and yet so gentle and affectionate, and watching these two interact with such tenderness made me feel humble - I love seeing them play. I hope future generations will still see these beautiful cats in the wild, and witness the precious interactions that so inspired me'
I was absolutely overwhelmed when I won the overall competition title 'BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2010' and the 'Endangered Species' category
with 'Tigers at Play' winning an incredible trip to
Nepal!
'Tigers at Play' was published in the BBC Wildlife Magazine with the judges comments, as follows;
'With the tiger population in real danger of extinction, this irresistible picture immediately struck a chord with the judges. The brilliantly depicted mother Amur tiger playing with her cub seems to strike a blow at the destructive forces waged against their kind'.

Past project during covid...
June 2020;
I had the honour of being asked to design the first Virtual Birdfair banner and marquees for their website! Really enjoyed the challenge, was fun!
Due to Covid-19, sadly the Physical Birdfair was cancelled but they kindly put on a Virtual Birdfair instead which opened on the 18th August - 23rd August 2020.
It was a great success so thank you and I hope you enjoyed the experience.
