Welcome

With my passion, appreciation and fascination for nature, I love drawing a wide range of wildlife species from all over the world. I have created this page as I specialise in cats and I am a full member of the 'Society of Feline Artists', in which I have been exhibiting with since 2004 at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, London.

During these shows I was delighted to be presented with the prestigious Llewellyn Alexander Awards in 2010 for my pastel drawing of 'Little Beauty', which I drew from one of my very own black panthers, Abui.

Prints available.

Sadly this gallery closed in 2018. So the group is now exhibiting in a range of locations, and I will keep this page up to date with these feline shows, as and when they are confirmed, unfortunately covid then came, keep an eye out for online exhibition this winter 2021.

I welcome any feline commissions, from our much-loved domestic to the illusive wild cats and the impressive beautiful big cats.

Introducing my 2 gorgeous black panthers I draw. Meet Mina and Abui...

Above I have shared a couple of photographs I have taken of our cats, which I call my black panthers - they are happy, playful house cats, loving their home comforts and scratch posts, not forgetting boxes lol, cats love a box, especially Mina. They are a brother and sister and I cannot believe that they turned 12 this year!

They are siamese and tabby mixed, even though they are black in the light you can see their tabby markings.

Abui, the male, the siamese is very distinctive especially in his face and vocalisation - I love the fact they talk to us! He loves cuddles and affection. They are both very playful but Mina, the female has a proper strut on her to which there is no denying she is a girl! A cat with a cool attitude. He is so handsome and she is a little cutie, but I am biased, I think cats have such characters and they know when you are in need of more cuddles!

The Cat Collection...

Below I have created a gallery showcasing the cat drawings I have produced prints from.
If interested in any of the prints below, if you click on the pic the link will take you to that cat print in the shop.

My cat art has been published in a wonderful book

'Cats in Art' by Desmond Morris

What a pleasure and honour to be approached to be included in such a wonderful book all about Cats in Art.

I love this book, how it highlights cats in history to present time, and how the cats have been depicted throughout history and in paintings.

It is very interesting and beautifully illustrated.  I love how cats have always been around, loved, having such characters and that cats can be found depicted in art all over the world.

Here you will find only the Cat themed shows...
Click 'here'  for the other shows exhibiting at this year.

If you are looking for a painting or drawing depicting a cat, whether it be big cats, wild cats, much loved domestic cats or an endangered species, click here 'Available Originals Gallery' to find cat paintings and drawings available to purchase and are ready to hang.

Sorry there are no shows at present...but below are all looking for a home. Get in touch if interested.

  • UPDATE Covid-19 I hope you are staying safe, well and looking after each other.

Due to the Corona virus with advise from the government and Heath minister, regrettably all my events have been cancelled for this year until further notice. I will update you when I know more.

I am continuing to draw, taking on commissions and able to answer any questions and process any purchases you may have. The online shop is always available for you to browse and the postal service is continuing business as usual  which is great news!

If you are interested in having a pet portrait or commission done, we can start the process via phone or video conference.
