Once a commission is agreed, I will require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the commission price prior to starting. Deposits also secure your place.
I do accept instalments as payment. If interested please get in touch to discuss this further. Once the picture's total has been paid off, I will ship it out to you, or your more than welcome to collect it from me in person.
I mainly work from good quality photographs and for an additional cost I do offer a photographic service so that you get the picture you want. Or if in doubt, email me your images so I can check if they are ok to draw from for you.
If you are looking for a certain subject to be drawn but you do not have any photos for me to draw from, please get in touch as there are a few options so do get in touch so we can discuss this.
I cannot and will not draw from an image without permission from the photographer or without the correct licence. If you have found an image and you are unsure, I can contact the photographer for you.
The A sizes are a rough image size and price guide.
The online pet portrait and human portrait packages are set sizes.
If you are looking for a set size contact me as there I am not limited to any sizes. The A sizes are a guide. You can have any size; whether it be smaller, in-between the A sizes or a set size you are looking to fill on your wall. If you email me with the images you would like drawn and the size of picture you are looking for, I will then get back to you with a price for your requirements.
A5 image size is half of an A4 size; approx. 14cm x 20cm.
A4 image size is approx. 20cm x 28cm.
A3 image size is double A4 size; approx. 28cm x 39cm.
A2 image size is double A3; approx. 39cm x 58cm.
Once the mount board and frame goes around the original, the picture is overall larger than the A sizes.
Each commission comes with a certificate of Authenticity
Each original comes framed ready to hang with normal glass or Artglass at an additional cost if preferred.
The prices vary due to how involved the commission is detail wise and due to which frame you choose.
I am very conscious about the materials I use. For many years now I have used conservation tapes and mount boards, ph neutral backing board, archival inks and papers, canvas and high-grade pastels, charcoals and acrylics. These all help to preserve and protect the artwork.
If you have a set amount you would like to spend, I will work with you to get to a size and price to suit your budget. Please email me the photo you would like to have drawn so that I can liaise with you regarding size and cost. One way to reduce the cost if you are on a fixed budget is to leave out the background, so I can be flexible to work within your budget where possible.
Due to purchasing direct from myself, the artist there is no commission.
The mediums I work in are as follows; Charcoal, which is black and white. Pastel which is colour and a soft effect. Acrylic is a paint, which is more vibrant in colour and has a more traditional look due to being painted on canvas, which has the canvas texture that is quite prominent. If still interested in acrylic, I have a smoother surface I can paint on if you do not wish to have the canvas texture.

The turn around is generally a month or two, although allow longer for Christmas commissions, never too early to discuss a commission.
If you have a particular photo or collection of photos you would like drawn but you are unsure if they are clear enough, please feel free to email them to me to info@nataliemascall.co.uk and include a short description of what you are looking for and size etc and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Worried about what the shipping costs are going to be as you are overseas/international, outside the UK? No need to worry, get in touch for a non-obligation quote, I will just need your postal address and approx size picture or print will be and I can take the worry away, and give you an idea of cost.
Any of my artwork, whether it be an original; commission, or gallery bought, or any prints creations by myself; any of my images are not to be re-distributed, copied, photographed, scanned, imitated or misappropriated without written consent from the any artist, including myself, otherwise one would be breaching the copyright law.
Any and all publishing and re-production rights are reserved solely by the artist.
If you would like prints produced from your commission created/drawn/painted by myself, please get in touch, as printing or re-producing the image in any way or printed on any other item will be breaching the copyright law, as all rights stay with the artist.
