A begium shepherd I drew in pastel. As the patio is similar colourings and all complimentary colours, this worked so well.

This is Badger, a beautiful collie I was asked to draw in pastel. Framing is personal choice but here to advise if unsure on what frame to choose.

To get an idea of size and layout I do suggest doing this as helps visually to what you like or dont like and if their heads are in proportion to one another etc...

This is Bertie, which I drew in pastel. This is a bulldog. This client knew what photo he wanted to be re-created and wanted the same size mount and frame to make the previous commission.

This completed pet portrait I drew in pastel. The photo reference I took, the lady wanted me to take some photos then she chose this fun pic for me to draw. Just showed off his character!

This beautful spaniel I drew in pastel. Pastel is a lovely medium for fur as keeps the detail nice and soft. This again was a photo I took for the client.

This was the clients photo. I drew this in pastel and was 2 photos made into one, one of the background and the oher of the dog.

Here is another pet portrait completed in pastel. With this whippet drawing aka Gatsby, the lady wasnt happy with the colours of the dog so after our consultation, I could then draw her Gatsby how she wanted to remember her.

I will always remember this one as they came a great distance and surprised his wife! This is a great example of a collage, especially nice when one has mnore than 1...I drew this in pastel with just a shaded background so doesnt ditract from their lovely faces.

I will always remember this one as well, due to her spaniel 'Penny' taking a liking to my shoe lol!! The lady wanted me to take some photos for her to choose from. This is 3 photos I have used, drawing all 3 of the photos in these positions to create this piece, like they are sitting together, as they do usually, with their beautiful wooden flooring contiuing through.

This was a surprise this commission. Drawn in pastel of her 3 babies! I will always remember this as her daughter and husband done so well keeping it a secret that when I turned up and revealed it she thought it was a photograph at first, she couldnt believe it, such an incredible reaction.

This was a great surprise this one! This was 3 different pictures of each dog I used to create this drawing. Added bluebells as was personal to the lady receiving this, also personalised with a title, just a personal touch that adds a little extra special meaning to some.
