Hi and welcome to my Great Apes & Monkeys Drawings Gallery page...
Below you will be able to view a couple of examples of Great Apes and Monkeys I have drawn/completed which include orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, olive baboons, colobus monkeys and young black howler monkeys. I have a soft spot for primates, they are just so fascinating and expressive, so much like ourselves that with some poses they are so relatable like 'Contemplate' for an example...
I have drawn various great apes and monkeys over the years but unfortunately I do not produce prints from every original I draw.
Do always keep an eye on new prints being launched as once they have gone, they are gone, same as originals!
If you do find any originals that you have missed, I do undertake commissions so please do ask me if there is one you really would like.
Also if you cant find a certain subject/species let me know what you are looking for and I can see if I have my own photo reference that you can choose from or yourself and we can go from there.
Many people still call the great apes monkeys, but monkeys have tails and the great apes do not, like the orangutan, gorilla and chimpanzees, no tails.
