This is a pastel drawing that I have drawn of a chimpanzee; I just felt that this spoke volumes without words, and very apt to todays plights. This definitely would get people talking I think, as I feel you can interpret this various ways...one being co-existing, another would definitely be the plastic situation.

I love the great apes, the chimpanzee being the most intelligent and the closest to our DNA, 99%, where as an orangutan shares 96.4% of our DNA. The great apes I find are so fascinating, so expressive, especially their eyes and pose, they can be so human or so relatable.

This original comes framed, ready to hang, in a smart white frame, which really pulls out the highlights within this piece.

The outside edge of frame measures H57.5cm x 78.5cm. The image size showing is H38cm x 59.5cm.
