This is an original hand-drawn charcoal drawing of beautiful Bengal Cat being playful entitled 'Playful Beauty' © I drew this from a friends photo reference, Yuki Ninomiya, and her stunning cat is called Bastet, wonderfully named after the feline goddess of Ancient Egyptian region. She very kindly allowed me to use her image and said that Bastet is greatly honoured to be a model of my art, I love this, and Bastet was an absolute joy to draw.

The Bengal cat is a domesticated cat breed created from hybrids of domestic cats, the Asian leopard cat and the Egyptian Mau, which gives them their golden shimmer – the breed name comes from the taxonomic name. Bengals have a wild appearance and may show spots, rosettes, arrowhead markings, or marbling.

This original comes framed (photo of the framed picture included in the images). A smart black frame with a silver edge both sides, 2 cm wide moulding. Original is double mounted.

The image size is H23.6cm x 29.5cm. The outside edge of frame is H39.4cm x 44.5cm.
