This is a Limited edition giclee print produced from the original pastel drawing drawn by Natalie Mascall, entitled 'Person of the Forest' ©

I drew this from a friends photo reference, with his permission with thanks, photographer Vic Sharratt. I couldn't wait to draw this pose, such full of character and for me so expressive! The Malay word orangutan means 'person of the forest'. These long-haired, orangish primates, found only in Sumatra and Borneo, are highly intelligent and are close relatives of humans. Orangutans have 96.4% of our DNA.

This image is the A2 size option and is double-mounted ready to be framed. The print is hand numbered and signed on each print on the white border around the image and is mounted and cellophaned. Image size H375mm x 430mm. The approx size of the outside edge of the mountboard is 55cm by 60.3cm. Image size for the A4+ size is H260mm x 297mm.

This image 'Person of the Forest' is available in a 2 size option, A4 and A2 (the size of the original). This image is limited to only 250 in this edition which includes both the sizes within the 250 limited edition.

Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity in which the number of the edition is logged and the date in which was printed and wrapped.

With the mountboard on top, the sizes are overall larger than the A size of the image.
