This is an original hand-drawn charcoal drawing of three oriental short-clawed otters, also known as the Asian small-clawed and small-clawed otters. I have entitled this piece 'Oriental Short-claws' © I drew this from my own photo reference.

Was thrilled to find out that during a show to raise money for painted dogs and other wildlife, that this received 'Commended' by the judges.

These otters are super cute and very vocal. They are an otter species native to South and Southeast Asia. They have short claws that do not extend beyond the pads of its webbed digits. With a total body length of 730 to 960 mm (28.6 to 37.6 in), it is the smallest otter species in the world.

This original comes framed in a lovely rustic shabby chic dark bluey grey wooden frame (photo of the framed picture included in the images). 4 cm wide moulding. Original is double mounted.

The image size is H21.7cm x 28.6cm. The outside edge of frame is H40cm x 47cm.
