Product Details

This is an original hand-drawn charcoal drawing of a Nanday Parakeet (Aratinga nenday) also known as a black-hooded parakeet or a nanday conure. Even though I have drawn this bird in black and white, they are medium-small, mostly green, neotropical parrot native to continental South America. It's most distinguishing characteristic, for which it is named, its black facial mask and beak.

I chose charcoal so the fine detail of the feathering was dominant over the colour, hope you enjoy.

I met this lil guy in New Zealand, at Parrot Place.

The image size is H28cm x 15.7cm. Outside of frame measures H42cm x 30.2cm
