Clients photo they wanted re-created in pastel. They took this whilst they were in South Africa and he was getting this commission done as a surprise for his wife.

Here is a commission that I drew in pastel that I re-created from 4 different photos; 1 was the barn owl, the wheat field, post and sunset. It doesnt matter if what you would like to see in a drawing isnt already in 1 photo, I will work with you to help you create that picture you are looking for.

Here is a commission I was asked to do in pastel. This was very personal for the family. I drew this from Barry Hunters photo reference, with his permission I drew this for the family. They asked me if I would produce a print, so I asked them to choose a charity to which I pledge to donate a % of each sale to Great Ormond Street. As again was personal charity to them.

Each commission is unique and special to the family or receiver, here again this was of personal meaning. This green woodpecker I drew in pastel and with Keith Prescotts permission, I drew this from his photo reference.

Some people know what sunject they would like on their wall but either not got the image etc. This image was chosen by my client. I purchased the artist licence from photographer Daryl Balfour.

Here is a amur leopard cub commission I completed in pastel. This I drew from the clients photo reference. Again loved drawing this, like them all! I love a challenge too!

This is a pastel drawing I drew from a clients photograph that they took whilst on safari. This is the pastel drawing completed and framed. Loved this frame! Sadly not all frames stay available, this one is now discontinued. 

This lion I drew in pastel, this is Zuri, such a handsome lion! This is the clients photo in which they took and asked me to draw.

This is a lilac breasted roller I drew in pastel. I was asked to draw this from a clients photo taken in the wild, in Africa. Having seen these myself out in Kenya, I  really enjoyed this. Also the frame chosen was more of a natural wooden frame which had nice bit of texture which you will see in the next picture! So many various frames available to compliment your picture.

The lilac breasted roller completed in pastel and mounted and framed ready to hang! I always ask the client what they would like their pictures named as it is an added personal touch to a picture. I loved their name they chose, 'Natures Raindow'. When one sees these birds in africa it is like a flash of light which I why I found their name to be so fitting!

This is the photo I was asked to draw but asked to take out the other people within the photo and crop it slightly to make his wife and the cheetah larger within the picture. Which you will see the completed picture next...

Here is the completed pastel drawing from the clients photo. A photo they took whilst in South Africa, a very memorable moment for them, now captured in a unique piece of artwork.
